Samala Kitchen Delight

Food is something that's included in my priority list (he3!), it's obvious on how big i grew up to this day.. I just love food and i really find it hard to resist hunger.. Too bad for me, but I will definitely do something about it in the near future..(PROMISE!)..

I do love eating out whether breakfast, lunch or dinner.. If my budget will permit, I usually go to the mall and eat @ my favorite restaurants and fast food chains.. It's only when I started blogging that I become more interested in discovering new restaurants that serves yummy and affordable food..

For those living in Manila, there are lots of options.. plenty of cozy restaurants to choose from.. For a lady like me who spent my entire life in Cavite and not much into traveling.. I only got a few.. that's why every discovery for me makes me feel so excited. :-)

Just last weekend, me and my husband went to the eye doctor for his check up. The patients were too numerous that it took us 5 hours to finish.. so when lunch time came, we decided to eat at a restaurant just a few steps away from the clinic.. there I discovered a restaurant I know i will return to from time to time..

The place was called "SAMALA KITCHEN DELIGHTS".. Actually they specialize on selling rice cakes, Sapin Sapin and Cassava.. but i tell you, their food is so yummy specially my favorite "ONION RINGS"! I'm surprised to know that a plateful of Onion Rings only costs P35.00!

Since then, it's been three times that i ate lunch in their resto. Here are some pictures i took while enjoying their food:

Here's my hubby playing with his face while we are waiting for our order..

Here's my "pa-cute" picture, is it obvious that I'm starving already? he3!

THE FOOD:

Pork Steak @ P70.00

Chicken Fillet BBQ @ P70.00

Pork Adobo @ P50.00 (sorry for the blurry image)

Breaded Pork @ P50.00

Noksilog @ P60.00

Beef Burger @ P50.00

Bangusilog @ P60.00

My favorite: Onion Rings @ P35.00

FOR DESSERT:

Halo Halo @ P38.00

and

A slice of Cassava @ P12.00

So guys if you happen to visit here at Cavite City.. you can drop by at Samala to experience the good food.. :-)

Thank you for posting your blog. I live in California. I lived for 20 years in Cavite City and migrated to USA 30 years ago. I have always wondered if Bibingka Samala is still in business or not. I am so glad that they still are, and that they even have this restaurant. I will definitely give it a try when I do go back to Pinas sometime soon.
