One of the most respected person of this time the 45th Vice President of United States Mr. Albert Arnold Gore Jr. also known as Al Gore will be in Manila, Philippines for some environmental talk. Al Gore will be live in SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex on June 8 2010 at exactly 4pm

We all know that Al Gore is also a certified american environmental activist and the person behind An Inconvenient Truth a must see documentary which won an Academy Award in 2007. He is also an author of An Inconvenient Truth: The Planetary Emergency of Global Warming and What We Can Do About It.

This is way too expensive...especially if the whole point is to educate the world about it. At the same time, understood that they need to raise the money to keep the campaign going. Chicken or egg situation.

Hindi naman mahal ang tickets, binilhan ako ni daddy ng ticket para makapunta ako diyan... yung 15,000+.

Napamura din ako nung nakita ko yung price list. Sayang, want to watch this with my family pa naman.
I hope students could see what will be going in there at June 8. And yeah, corporate people, should go there since they can afford it and they really should change their company's lifestyle and go change into more green and eco-friendly.

Wish it would give rich-ass people who doesn't really care a big slap on their backs when they watched that.

liking the comments very much. if they indeed wanted people to learn, they would've made the price affordable even for the mediocre people. i think i know that a lot of students would've liked to attend this said convention/seminar., whatever you call it, but the ticket price are way too expensive. i would've liked to go and watch, but sadly, can't afford yung ticket eh. hay. sayang talaga. alam nating al gore is one of the most well-known people around... pero aun. di naman puno ng mayayaman ang 'pinas. x(

ang gagaling naman ng mga organizers ng seminar na ito... aware na aware sila sa kalagayan ng mother earth pero hindi nila naiintindihan ang kalagayan ng mga ordinaryong tao na gusto rin sanang makapakinig at magkaroon ng mas malawak na kaalaman tungkol dito. alam kay ni al gore ito? kung gaano kahalaga sa isang ordinaryong pilipino ang isang libo higit ang labinlimang libong piso na buong kabuhayan mo na kaysa ipambili ng tiket para magising sa kalagayan nga inang kalikasan?
