Many of us expected that Avatar will bring home the Best Picture of Academy Awards. But one movie defy the odds and beat the million-dollar Avatar and that is The Hurt Locker. Directed by Kathryn Bigelow ex-wife of Avatar director James Cameron. Story in Iraq were an Army of Bomb expert must unite and face every potential bomb that crawl within the heart of the city.
The opening scene of the movie really stick me on the screen this is the first time I've watched a movie with a story from Iraq that really made me interested although it's a war movie don't expect of too much gun fight and huge explosion but it will not fail you to pump your excitement specially when Staff Sergeant William James difussing IED (Improvised Explosive Device).
All in all The Hurt Locker will not bore you until the end of the movie and also it will transport you in Iraq and made you feel your in the same situation with the rest of cast. Also Jeremy Renner got a superb acting talent and looking forward to his career.
